Pull Log — Quick Start

Getting started: nothing to sign up for

• No account, no login, no ads. Open the app and start logging.
• Your book stays on your iPhone. There's no Pull Log cloud and no iCloud sync.
• Keep a copy: go to More → Export Full Backup and save it to Files, AirDrop it, or email it to yourself. Auto backups (weekly by default) are saved on the phone only.

Best first-time setup (about 2 minutes)

1. Add your tractor (optional). Tractors tab → red + → New Tractor. Enter a name, class, and chassis brand. Under Fields to Show, turn on only the specs you track.
2. Start a session. On Home, tap the red Start a Session. Type the track name (or pick one you've used before), then set the date and conditions. Tap Auto-fill to fill in the weather, or type it yourself. Tap Save.
3. Log your hook. Open the session → red + → Log Setup. Enter the Distance (ft) and placement, tap note tags like Hooked clean or Spun, and pick your tractor or type its name. Tap Save. Only the tractor name is required.
4. Add photos or video. On Setup Detail, go to Media and tap Camera or Library.
5. Next hook? Tap Log Next Hook. It copies your last specs, so you only change what's different.
6. Compare setups. After you have 2 setups, Home → Compare Setups. Pick A and B, and Pull Log shows exactly what changed.

Tracks: adding and picking

• Fastest way: type a new track name when you start a session. It's added to your Tracks list for you.
• Next time, pick it from the Track list in New Session.
• Or add it first: Tracks tab → + → New Track (name, location, surface, notes). Tap a track to see its sessions and its best setup, and use + there to start a session at that track.
• After your first session, start new ones from History → + or from a track's page.

Where your settings live

Every hook's specs (engine, weights, hitch, tires, and more) are saved in its setup. Write down what worked in that setup's Notes. Track and weather details go in the session.
